Create images

Knecty can create images from a description.

Prices

Each image model has a flat price per image: GPT Image 1.5 ($0.08 per image) and GPT Image Mini ($0.03 per image). Variations, edits and upscales are new images at the same price. The shape doesn’t change the price.

In a chat

  • Pick an image model in the picker (filter by Image), then describe the image and send. Images made in chat are square.
  • Or leave the model on Auto: if your message asks for an image, Auto uses an image model and says so (“image request”).
  • If you’ve picked a text model and your message looks like an image request, Knecty asks “Looks like an image request — generate with {model}?” with Switch, or ✕ to carry on.

In a chat, the image is charged when you send. If it fails: “Image generation failed. You were not charged.”

On the Images page

The Images page lets you check the price before creating anything:

  1. Describe your image (up to 4,000 characters).
  2. Choose the Model and Aspect ratio: Square (1:1), Portrait (2:3) or Landscape (3:2).
  3. Choose Estimate cost, then Generate for {price} — nothing is charged until you confirm.

Each image’s menu offers Create variations, Edit… (change the prompt and make a new image linked to the original) and Upscale (a new render at the same size). Each one is a new, separately charged image.

Downloading and labels

Open an image and choose Download to save it as a PNG, or Copy prompt to reuse the prompt. Every image is labelled AI-generated and carries Content Credentials — tap it to see the model and details.

Images you create in chat, including in incognito chats, also appear on the Images page.
