Find and organise your chats
The sidebar
The sidebar lists Pinned chats, Projects, Folders and Recents. Recents are ordered by when you last sent a message — a chat you reply in moves to the top. Renaming, pinning or moving a chat doesn’t change its place. When a section is long, More shows the rest.
A chat’s menu
Choose ⋯ on a chat in the sidebar for:
- Pin / Unpin — keep it at the top.
- Rename.
- Move to project or Move to folder.
- Tags.
- Archive — hides it from the sidebar. Archived chats are in Library → Archived, where you can unarchive them.
- Delete — choose it, then Confirm delete. There’s no undo from the sidebar. Deleting a chat also turns off any share link to it.
Library
Library lists all your chats. Search them, switch between Active and Archived, and use Select to archive, move or delete many at once (with Undo right after — Undo brings the chats back, but not their share links; share them again if you need to), or export them as Markdown or JSON.
Search
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux), or choose Search in the sidebar. Before you type, it shows recent chats; type three or more letters to search inside your messages and jump straight to the match. It also jumps to pages such as Projects, Images and Settings.
Inside a chat, Find (⌘⇧F / Ctrl+Shift+F) searches the messages on screen.
Saved messages
Tap Save message on any reply to keep it in Saved, in the sidebar.
