Set a monthly budget alert

A monthly budget is a personal spending alarm.

Set it up

1. Go to Settings → Wallet & usage.
2. Enter a Monthly budget in dollars and an Alert at percentage.
3. Save. To turn it off, remove the budget.

What it does

• When your spending this month reaches the alert percentage, you see a warning and we send you one email.
• It is a warning only. We never stop your chats or change which model answers because of it.

To actually limit spending, keep your top-up balance low: when your weekly credit and your top-up balance can’t cover a message, it isn’t sent.
