Withdraw from your plan (EU/UK)

If you’re in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your contract.

The 14-day window

The window opens when you start your trial, or your first paid plan if you didn’t have a trial. Renewals don’t open a new window. Settings → Plan & billing shows “You can withdraw from this contract until [date]” while you’re inside it.

How much you get back

At checkout there’s an optional box that is never ticked for you:

I agree to immediate access. Withdrawing within 14 days refunds the unused days.

  • If you ticked it, withdrawing refunds the unused days of what you paid.
  • If you didn’t tick it, withdrawing refunds the full amount.

Either way, paying never depended on that box.

How to withdraw

  1. Go to Settings → Plan & billing and choose Withdraw from contract here — or choose Cancel and then Withdraw from contract (refund).
  2. Check the summary: the plan you’re withdrawing from and the estimated refund.
  3. Choose Confirm withdrawal.

Cancel or withdraw? Cancel stops renewal and you keep access until your period ends. Withdraw ends your access now and refunds you.

What happens next

  • We email you to confirm we received your claim, and we review it within 14 days.
  • While the claim is being reviewed, your account is on hold: you can’t chat or buy anything, and nothing renews. See Why is my account paused?.
  • When it’s approved, the refund goes to your original payment method. It usually reaches your card or bank in 5–7 working days, and we email you when it’s on its way.
  • Top-ups aren’t part of a withdrawal refund.

Changed your mind?

While the claim is still pending, you can take it back: in Settings → Plan & billing, choose Withdraw refund claim, enter the 6-digit code we email you, and choose Withdraw claim. Your access comes back straight away, and your plan continues as it was.

The legal detail is in the Refund policy.
