Embed a chat and your public profile

Embed a chat on your site

For a Public share, the Share dialog shows Embed on your site. Choose Copy embed and paste the code into your web page. It shows the chat read-only, with the model labels, and a link back to Knecty.

Unlisted, password-protected, revoked or expired shares can’t be embedded; the embed then says “This conversation isn’t available”.

Your public profile

Your public profile is off by default. Turn it on in Settings → Shared links → Public profile:

  1. Choose a Handle — 3 to 30 lowercase letters, numbers or underscores.
  2. Turn on Make my profile public.

Your page at /u/your-handle lists the chats you’ve shared as Public, without a password, that haven’t expired or been revoked. Unlisted links never appear there. Search engines can find your profile page.

Turn the profile off at any time to hide the page.
